All Access: The Easter Truth That Changes Everything

There’s a quiet question many people carry—whether they say it out loud or not:

Can I really come to God as I am?

For a lot of people, the answer has always felt… uncertain because somewhere along the way, we picked up the idea that access to God is earned. That you get closer to Him by doing better, by trying harder, by fixing yourself first. And if we’re honest, that belief is exhausting.

It turns faith into performance.
It replaces relationship with pressure.
It makes God feel close in theory—but distant in practice.

But Easter interrupts that narrative completely.

The Moment Everything Changed

When Jesus went to the cross, it wasn’t just a moment of sacrifice, it was a moment of access. Scripture tells us that at the exact moment He died, the veil in the temple was torn in two. That detail matters more than most people realize because the veil wasn’t decorative, it was a divider. It separated people from the presence of God. Only a select few could go beyond it under strict conditions and only at specific times. It was a system built on distance, but when Jesus gave His life, that barrier didn’t slowly open, it was torn.

From top to bottom. Not by human effort, but by God Himself.

And in that moment, something profound happened: What was once restricted became available.

You Were Never Meant to Perform for Access

If we’re not careful, we’ll celebrate Easter and still live like the veil is intact. Still trying to earn what’s already been given, still striving for approval that’s already been settled, and still approaching God like we need permission He’s already granted. But the message of Easter is clear: You don’t perform your way into God’s presence. You receive your way in through faith.

That’s it. No checklist. No spiritual résumé. No waiting until you “feel ready.”

Just faith.

This Easter, we’re not inviting people to attend a service. We’re inviting them into a reality.

A reality where:

  • You don’t have to pretend

  • You don’t have to have it all figured out

  • You don’t have to carry everything on your own

You just have to come and maybe that’s the most challenging part for some people—not doing more, but trusting that what’s been done is enough.
